What you’ll be doing...

You’ll analyze trends and identify outliers that could signal a problem. Using statistical analyses, like regression, correlation, and variance, you’ll uncover the unexpected within the expected patterns in our data. Plus, you’ll come up with the best ways to share the data in dashboards, presentations, and written reports---to suit the need and the audience. You’ll also help identify potential noncompliance that could be harmful to the organization. By finding and identifying compliance issues, you’ll be an integral part of the compliance team’s success---keeping us in check in all ways that matter.

  • Finding anomalies and potential risk that may signal compliance issues.
  • Analyzing data and communicating insights and metrics with key stakeholders.
  • Providing the metrics needed to support top business goals.
  • Creating new business intelligence services and support to address emerging needs.
  • Documenting business requirements and providing reports to management.
  • Creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards, analyzing trends and identifying outliers that could signal a problem.

You have exceptional Tableau analytical, statistical reporting and research skills to support Investigations/projects. Your attention to detail ensures you’ll get the job done accurately. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where new challenges come up every day. You are comfortable working on your own but you also enjoy collaborating with others. You are a good listener and able to translate a business question into just the right analysis to find the answer.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with the use of Teradata SQL and MS SQL servers (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS).
  • Excel and Visual Basic for Applications experience.
  • Experience with Tableau Dashboard authoring.
  • Experience with creating interactive dashboards.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with data management tools; Teradata Assistant or other querying tools.
  • Experience working with data management tools; SQL Teradata Assistant or other querying experience.
  • Data modeling experience.
  • Data warehousing experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Familiarity with data visualization software. Ideally, COGNOS or Tableau.
  • Ability to conceptualize and develop complex SQL queries.
  • Exposure to Compliance and Risk Management.
  • Created system enhancements for existing processes.
  • Experience with statistical software like SAS or SPSS.
  • Programmed in R or Python.
  • Managed projects and delivered results for multiple stakeholders.
  • Three or more years of legal/investigative or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with billing and point of sale systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and matters.
  • Extremely strong project management skills with proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong ability to assess and respond to internal and external client demands.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Highly developed analytical reasoning skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions and the judgment to know when to seek guidance.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and process high volumes of work in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Civil or criminal litigation support experience and familiarity with law enforcement practices.
  • Extensive data warehouse/data mining skills; experience in extracting data from the VZW data warehouse or other large data warehouses.
