What you’ll be doing...

We innovate constantly to help the biggest names in business work quicker and smarter and we apply the same vision and focus to the way we do business. You’ll be the primary point of contact for the Verizon Connect white-glove accounts with focus on managing their accounts receivables. You will accomplish this objective by serving their every need as it relates to their invoice support. You will act as the direct point of contact for these customers using a “friendly face”. You will ultimately be responsible for keeping their past due balances to a minimum and dealing with their escalations appropriately.

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for theVerizon Connectwhite-glove accounts.
  • Prioritizing receivable base to ensure most impactful items have focus.
  • Providing supplemental schedules to support invoicing.
  • Responsible for uploading VZ invoices into customer portals.
  • Responding to internal and external escalations from all departments and all levels.
  • Communicating and presenting status updates to senior management.
  • Responsible to responding to customer disputes and seeking internal resolution on the customer behalf.
  • Leading conference calls with customers and internal contacts to obtain receivable resolution commitments/strategies.
  • Reviewing and approving customer transactions, including refunds, credits, journal voucher postings, etc.
  • Providing management ready reporting and analysis.
  • Communicating receivables results and individual customer action plans to the Manager and executive levels.

Since you’re highly analytical, you constantly come up with process improvements and are motivated by the impact you have on the business. You also enjoy collaborating with others and working in a team environment. Tailoring your written and verbal communications to the needs of your audience enables you to have an impact at all levels including user communities, and leadership.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or Business.

  • Prior commercial collections and/or customer service experience.

  • Telecommunications experience.
