What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be ensuring that analytics drive continuous business improvements, bringing more profitable growth and an even better customer experience. You’ll define the analytics strategy and champion that strategy across the business to create buy-in for data-driven decision making. Your end goal will be to recommend improvements that will go straight to the bottom line, by helping us serve our customers

  • Lead analysis efforts around complex data sets to determine key drivers related to customer churn, revenue and/or upsell opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities and emerging trends and make recommendations for marketing offers and campaigns based on analysis results.
  • Develop requirements for reporting and analysis on offers and campaigns under development.
  • Develop predictive models for churn, upsell, upgrade etc. and segmentation models.
  • Develop customer targeting strategies by identifying cohorts of customers for targeting the right offers.
  • Package results of analysis into professional presentations for communication to peers, superiors and executive levels of the organization.
  • Work with Finance to provide data needed to support business cases.
  • Create and publish professional level dashboards to share results across the organization.
  • Conduct analyses and deliver actionable insights leveraging various forms of data, including store transactions, calls, and digital and social data based on the business needs.
  • Present concise and actionable recommendations for strategy improvements and provide strong justifying evidence to defend these recommendations. Gain alignment across work groups and implement these changes.
  • Write precise and detailed requirements for complex data sets from IT for use in analysis.
  • Manage multiple projects across descriptive, inferential and predictive analytics.

Communicating what you’ve uncovered in a way that can be easily understood by others is one of your strengths.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Predictive and prescriptive modeling and analytics experience.
  • Experience with Teradata, MySQL, Tableau, Hadoop, SaS, Python, R, Altryx, Adobe site catalyst and Google analytics.
  • Experience querying and leveraging various types of data, including transactional/billing, customer calls, customer survey/sentiment, campaign, social and digital.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Technology or related field.
  • Demonstrated success meeting/exceeding business objectives.
  • Deep knowledge of best practices for measurement and analytics of both digital and non-digital marketing initiatives.
  • Deep technical expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling.
  • Ability to communicate complicated concepts and to articulate case for efficacy and preferred methodologies.
  • Understanding of statistical/data mining concepts and techniques.
  • Grasp of information technology concepts for data capture and data management.
  • Ability to take ownership and take initiative on projects.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced work environment.
  • Proven strengths in analytics and critical thinking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work, problem solve, and lead independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through multitasking, prioritization, and negotiating expectations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly, and to explain it to both business and IT stakeholders.
