What you’ll be doing...

This position is responsible for executing on Verizon’s overall international marketing strategy. The Manager of International Marketing is responsible for all aspects of the product lifecycle, from planning, technical architecture definition, UAT test specifications, production implementation and maturation. This role will focus on the management of multiple customer facing roaming applications and processes to ensure a best-in-class roaming customer experience.

The ideal candidate has proven success developing and managing wireless products and should have prior experience managing customer facing applications and messaging. This individual should also have technical expertise in the international roaming space and have the skills necessary to grow product revenue while simplifying and improving upon the customer journey. Success in this role will require coordination and leadership across teams within all of Verizon, including User Experience Design, Marketing Communications, Device, Operations, Finance, IT, Network and other external stakeholders.

  • Responsible for the management of multiple customer facing applications, processes and messaging related to International Roaming.
  • Responsible for product and customer messaging strategy to meet current and future needs of international services.
  • Develops product objectives and development plans, identifies and obtains resources for product/project implementation.
  • Provides development and support of global “welcome messaging” solution across all pricing plans.
  • Develops reporting and analytics to deliver improved understanding of international customer behavior.
  • Owns and develops a comprehensive strategy on Advice of Charge and Captive Portal self-serve through Web & SMS platforms.
  • Defines and implements campaign messaging and promotions.
  • Establishes operational objectives for product performance and ensures progress is tracked to meet company goals.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and provide marketing input on networks steering implementations.
  • Partners with IT, Network, Roaming Operations and business teams to develop detailed requirements and use cases for new product enhancements.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.
  • Six or more years of experience in Marketing, Product or Program Management in wireless industry, including Market Planning, Product Development & Management.
  • Proven track record in financial assessments, business case development and analysis.
  • End to end understanding of telecommunications and roaming fundamentals - both technical and business.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless Billing, Network Engineering, and Operations.
  • Demonstrates strong financial knowledge and capability.
  • Superior project management skills and process oriented.
