What you’ll be doing...

You’ll join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet customer needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. You’ll work fairly independently on more complex operational and technical projects, issues, systems and applications. You’ll also get to use your experience, expertise and skills to solve problems that are more difficult and infrequent.

  • Leading multiple projects using on-site and offshore teams to maintain and develop applications for both enterprise releases and smaller maintenance releases.
  • Working closely with the business team, 3rd party vendors, and other internal IT teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Performing engineering tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development of UI including new dialogs and screens.
  • Working with data and project managers to understand systems, and consulting with customers to understand their needs.
  • Developing and implementing new systems, correcting software errors in existing systems, and working to improve performance through hardware upgrades.
  • Managing computer systems in a business environment and resolving technical issues.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems, or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience developing solutions for open systems, mobility architecture, tablets, and android/iOS platforms.
  • Relevant work experience with UI/UX development.
  • Experience with Web technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS and Java.
  • Knowledge of programming, data structures, computer systems, and software engineering.
  • AWS or any public cloud experience.
  • Experience with IDE’s like STS, Eclipse and Netbeans.
  • Experience with Unix/Windows environments.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Strong analytical, communications, leadership and technical skills.
  • Experience in Designing UX for meaningful, user-centered and highly functional experiences.
  • Experience with Micro Service technologies, including Spring, Spring Boot, REST Services and Web technologies, Java/J2EE.
  • Experience with DevOps automation and toolchain including Jenkins, Jira, GIT, Maven.
  • Working experience with OOP, SOA, design pattern, multi-threading.
  • Knowledge of Network topology for Layer 0/1/2 and experience working with Map tools.
