What you’ll be doing...

You will participate with the OPD and sales solution teams in the development of Complex Delivery and Pre-Sales Assessment deliverables for each opportunity assigned. This includes support for CPT-130, 135 processes within the CPT framework. You will perform comprehensive reviews of RFP/RFI or other contract related documents and participate in the solution development process with other solution stakeholders. In many cases, there may be specific SOW attachment and exhibit reviews and contract redlining of requirements to assist with ensuring contract documents accurately reflect Verizon capabilities.

  • Performing assessments of program/project management service delivery and steady state resource levels and cost estimation (formula and experience based) to either be quoted (priced) directly to sales or provided to PCM for business case modeling.
  • Using established corporate sales and solution tools.
  • Developing a preliminary Transition and Transformation plan (when required) and related schedules with varying levels of detail based on the specific client RFP and opportunity related requirements.
  • Communicating best practices and lessons learned to prospective customers in a way that builds credibility and confidence.
  • Handling managed services customer transitions and transformations from start-up to completion.
  • Establishing project scopes, timelines, risks and success criteria with executive levels within Verizon and the customer.
  • Developing cross-functional teams committed to quality, agility, creativity and profitability in support of transition and transformation activities.
  • Providing matrix management of internal resources, sales resources and third party vendors.
  • Providing complex managed services SME functionality on large implementations over $25 million in new revenue.
  • Assisting the Solution Development teams with creating programs based on best practices and lessons learned to minimize delays and cost overruns.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of IT project delivery and/or service operations experience.
  • Four or more years of experience with project planning, project execution and creation of work breakdown structures.
  • Four or more years of experience managing a steady state (Service Operations) environment and integrating managed solutions with service desks and personnel into established customer environments.
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • PMP/Prince2 certifications.
  • CISCO certifications.
  • Equivalent experience with large complex network based managed services and integration with VOIP, Security and Cloud services.
  • Four or more years of complex IT project delivery and/or service operations experience with large Multi-Service Tower Managed Services solutions with a specific focus on Complex Service Transition and Transformations for our largest customer segments.
