What you’ll be doing...

We are the focal point for industry intelligence and information. We have the intellectual lead, and the intelligence and information to apply it to protecting our customers. We analyzed major breaches and bn logs - nobody else has this kind of intelligence, nor the capability to apply it in such a wide area. Simply put, we have more in our kitbag than the competition.

In this role, you are considered a security SME while consulting and selling complex managed security solutions and services. You must have a level of business acumen to develop, lead, and close sales opportunities with our largest enterprise accounts.

  • Hunting within a set of accounts to identify opportunities to grow the accounts by adding Verizon security products and services.
  • Identifying opportunities, positioning, and selling the full range of Verizon Security Services, Managed Security Services, Third Party SaaS, and Professional Security/Consulting Services.
  • Partner to identify, develop, and close additional opportunities with existing clients and work with sales team to close the opportunities.
  • Identify all the key technical influencers and present the Verizon value proposition to executive level clients.
  • Must have the skills necessary to clearly articulate Verizon value proposition to all levels within a customer's organization.
  • Map customer's identified business and technical issues to Verizon solutions.
  • Identify technical barriers to sale (Verizon barriers and/or the customer’s barriers).
  • Identify and coordinate Verizon internal resources required to develop customer solution.
  • Assist customers in their evaluation of Verizon products and services.
  • Conduct educational sessions within the customers' organization.
  • Ensure there is clear documentation of customer project needs.

    What we’re looking for...

    You’ll need to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
    • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

    Even better if you have:

    • A degree.
    • Two or more years of sales experience in some/all of the following areas:
      • Cyber Intelligence and Analytics
      • Critical Infrastructure
      • Global Managed Security Services
      • Threat and Risk Intelligence
      • Vulnerability Management
      • Identity and Access Management
      • Governance Risk and Compliance
      • Security & Network Architecture
      • Demonstrate the ability to build credibility and become a trusted advisor with accounts in assigned territory.
      • Infiltrate assigned territory to meet assigned bookings quotas.
