What you’ll be doing...

You are an analytically-driven problem solver looking to join a high profile, high visibility team that powers the identification and continuous monitoring of key Wireless consumer segment trends. You can consistently deliver data-driven insights and opportunities by incorporating a wide variety of internal and external data sources. You are the expert on all data points and supporting analysis, and are able to present findings and solutions to senior leadership. You have exceptional influencing skills and experience partnering across multiple organizations to drive results.

You’ll gather data from internal and external focus groups, internal stakeholders and customers through surveys, interviews and workshops to help our leadership teams make the best data-driven decisions. The data you gather will be turned into strategic and tactical recommendations that will drive business decisions and actions.

  • Holistically framing complex questions, identifying emerging trends and opportunities, making logic-based assumptions, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations related to Marketing opportunities.
  • Building, automating, and maintaining complex SQL queries to compile performance data necessary for ad hoc marketing analyses.
  • Partnering with business and strategy managers to develop requirements for reporting, scorecard creation and maintenance, and deep dive analysis.
  • Providing market and industry perspectives to complement the research, insights, and inform recommendations.
  • Packaging analytical findings and results into professional presentations for communication to peers, superiors and executive levels of the organization.

You understand the bigger picture and set the research in that context to provide comprehensive business-savvy recommendations. You are a trusted business partner and enjoy working with cross functional teams to deliver the best outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance or Technology or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in SQL.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).

Even better if you have:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Three or more years of experience in SQL; ideally, Teradata SQL.
  • Three or more years of experience programming/scripting/coding (SQL, Python, SAS/R) and knowledge of relational databases.
  • Three or more years of experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Managed complex marketing research/consumer insights projects with internal and external partners.
  • Designed, implemented, and interpreted studies and analysis of syndicated and custom data as well as focus groups, interviews, and surveys.
  • High level of curiosity and investigative mind-set with an attention to detail.
  • Ability and interest in solving new problems.
  • Effective communication, presentation and MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional team leadership skills.
  • Capacity for quickly learning and using widely available tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, change tasks quickly and follow through on all projects to the end.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
