What you’ll be doing...

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be leading a call center team to deliver the best customer service. You’ll take care of motivating your team, developing supervisors and creating sales strategies. Verizon is evolving and you will play a highly visible role in our future success providing outstanding customer service.

  • Develop, coach and lead the sales/service team.
  • Measure, analyze, and identify revenue improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze trends and formulate strategies for a call center.
  • Create and implement strategies for customer service profit growth, revenue protection and cost management.
  • Review and analyze call center reports and make coaching recommendations.
  • Staff daily operations to run effectively and efficiently while meeting changing customer service requirements.
  • Develop local training initiatives and employee communications.
  • Establish and maintain an effective rapport with individuals of diverse backgrounds and professional levels.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience
  • Call Center Management experience.
  • Experience with data analysis.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Five or more years of management operations experience in a call center, sales support center or customer service environment.
  • Experience working with a unionized workforce.
  • Experience with sales center systems.
