What you’ll be doing...

You will develop and implement process improvements specific to Recovery operations and final bill collections to drive results, reduce call volumes, and enhance the customer experience.

  • Develops and maintains Methods and Procedures documentation.
  • Receives general guidance for the accomplishment of short to medium term goals and operating objectives.
  • Plans and executes work independently, exercising significant latitude in determining objectives of assignments.
  • Acts as VZT Finals process support liaison to Customer Financial Services and all Sales channels.
  • Audits, analyzes, and measures processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and controls are met.
  • Collects and analyzes data to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and management policies.
  • Reports and analyzes metrics to evaluate financial controls relating to Recovery Management.
  • Develops business requirements and benefits for strategic project BRD/RT.
  • Investigates and resolves high level customer escalations, performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective action.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Debt Collection laws.
  • Project management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Computer Science.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated effective speaking skill and concise and effective written documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to review results and evaluate the impact of initiatives.
  • Intermediate level of understanding of report query and design such as SQL.
  • Four or more years of experience in a collections support/call center environment.
  • Ability to adapt easily to change and work in a rapidly changing environment.
