What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for driving the Verizon brand Omni-channel experience in over 6,000 indirect agent doors for store design, merchandising and all brand merchandising elements. You will be the merchandising programs lead and key point of contact for agents, vendors, Customer Experience team, Marcom, Brand, Advertising, Production and internal sales team for strategy implementation. Other major areas of responsibility include implementation of our next gen store design, exterior sign program, indirect channel brand guidelines and advertising and social assets for agents across the country.

  • Manage cross functional vendors, such as fixtures, lighting, flooring, architects, I/T vendor and ACB to ensure items are available for various initiatives.
  • Drive down cost and identify efficiencies to better support the agent channel, as well as offer innovative ideas to drive business results.
  • Be accountable for merchandising execution and operations.
  • Manage our design strategy, execution and brand for all Indirect Agent Partners nationwide.
  • Work with various vendors to build forecasts, prototypes and execution nationwide.
  • Track program progress, including data analysis and reporting as necessary.
  • Tailor messaging via in store POP and digital content appropriately for agent store needs.
  • Ensure our brand is represented properly throughout the agent channel.
  • Ensure consistency and strategic planning around the development of all merchandising programs that involve the agent channel.
  • Coordinate and participate in cross-functional teams to accomplish business objectives.
  • Develop cost reduction initiatives and identify areas of improvement for execution and speed to market within the agent channel.
  • Lead the implementation of custom fixtures to improve the customer experience and marketability of our products and services.
  • Present at HQ executive meetings, area and regional kick-offs, and weekly and daily calls.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration, or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Relevant work experience in the wireless industry.
  • Ability to act as a team player with high spirit and determination.
  • Results oriented and deadline driven mindset.
  • Strong presentation skills at both the senior management level and for cross functional teams.
  • Excellent decision-making, leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Retail operations and/or merchandising experience.
  • Excellent project management skills and demonstrated results.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage projects and motivate cross functional teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to create sophisticated solutions to complex problems.
