What you’ll be doing...

You will facilitate sales processes by: fielding customer inquiries, listening to customer concerns, asking probing questions, performing needs assessments and developing statements of work and level of effort estimates. You will work with the sales teams to cultivate and improve customer relationships and work with internal teams, such as legal, account management, order setup, etc. to advance opportunities through stages of the sales funnel. You will also speak at conferences and write in industry publications to demonstrate Verizon’s thought leadership.

  • Monitoring project delivery for timeliness, and to ensure deliverables meet quality expectations.
  • Managing relationships with customers throughout engagements.
  • Cultivating and maintaining expertise on PCI compliance nuances within a specific industry vertical, such as Healthcare, FedGov, Financial services, etc.
  • Providing feedback and improvement recommendations.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the technology space, or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Information Security experience.
  • Experience as a Qualified Security Assessor performing assessments or remediation engagements.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27000 LA, PMP, ITIL, etc.
  • Knowledge of emerging areas of technology, such as cloud migration, digital transformation, etc.
  • Ability to provide guidance to customers based on your PCI expertise.
  • Initiative, self-starter mindset, and a creative approach.
  • Ability to understand and ultimately meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Team first orientation and willingness to support the development of others.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
