What you’ll be doing...

  • Ensures, maintains and enhances the performance of global customer networks.
  • Works on-site supporting a major client in the Piscataway, NJ area.
  • Serves as a consultant to continually drive optimization, stability and durability of the network while working closely with the appropriate internal organizations to provide world class customer service.
  • Develops and manages network and service plans.
  • Performs proactive network optimization reviews, including network diversity planning and network hardening on installed services, presenting the client with all options and consultation.
  • Maintains client diversity requirements and business continuity plans including back-up and disaster recovery plans.
  • Coordinates and manages performance and SLA compliance of the existing client network including availability, time to repair (TTR), customer outage time and chronic issues and recommends appropriate changes.
  • Manages individual complex technical incidents and problems impacting the client’s service availability and escalates as appropriate.
  • Develops and delivers detailed root cause analysis reports and service improvement plans in response to complex customer outages or catastrophic network issues.
  • Highlights all technical risks and makes sure a risk mitigation strategy is put in place where applicable, as part of the risk assessment process.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Three or more years of experience working with large enterprise customers.
  • ITIL certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage executive escalations skillfully.
  • Experience managing complex client environments and working with internal and external groups to drive operational issues to resolution.
