What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be the wireless network lead for a series of massive public venue “teaming” projects. Bring your leadership and leading-by-influence “A” game. You’ll interface with leadership up to the executive level. You’ll be the primary point of contact for the other carriers, and the key contact between Verizon and leadership of large universities, transportation agencies and/or stadia. And you’ll build several across the country, all at once.

You’ll build these sites, learn to love them, and, over time let them go, as these projects become part of the local network’s operations.

  • Develop end-to-end project plans to guide the implementation of network infrastructure.
  • Work with escrow funds that make these initiatives go.
  • Balance resource allocation, budgets, timelines, and potential risk factors that may impact project success.
  • Travel considerably (25 - 50%) - running meetings in three time zones.
  • Bring authority, energy, and enthusiasm to these meetings and site visits.
  • Identify and document process needs and communicate with the field, HQ, venue vendors, and other carriers.
  • Represent Verizon and personify our credo to high profile venue leaders.
  • Collaborate with other carriers and their investment.
  • Manage expectations and ensure we meet our commitments.
  • Work with other carriers in teaming agreements.
  • Develop an understanding of antitrust laws through training.
  • Leverage your technical skills to collaborate on projects with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the territory and sub-market technical leads to ensure carrier additions are integrated efficiently.
  • Negotiate favorable agreements with venue executives.
  • Demonstrate cautious spend controls.
  • Collect and manage funds for multiple carriers.
  • Identify needs early, preventing project delays.
