What you’ll be doing...

You will be part of the Bill 2 Cash Payments Strategy team and will be responsible for the delivery of special projects towards the development of new payment capabilities. Primary responsibilities will include assisting with the development of a payment capabilities roadmap to significantly transform the payments acceptance costs to help remove $100M from the P&L. You will develop business cases for next generation payment projects that will drive cost efficiencies and stakeholder return. This is a unique finance role that will allow you to work across the finance organization and other parts of the business to help drive strategic thinking and initiatives for the payments capabilities.

  • Quickly learn the current methods and channels leveraged to collect payments from our customers.
  • Become knowledgeable of the payment industry best practices and develop insights from external research on new payments solutions in the marketplace.
  • Manage due diligence in future payments capability areas and provide insightful suggestions for future customer payment and processing options.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional key stakeholders across marketing, operations, technologies and finance to learn and document existing payments processes.
  • Manage the internal and external customer experience, coordinate with internal and external partners, and strategically prioritize projects.
  • Acquire skills in transforming the business by leveraging business operations, governance process excellence, and lean methodologies relative to product development.
  • Prioritize, develop and deploy payment related projects that ultimately lead to the attainment of business goals and objectives.
  • Think strategically about product and business attainments, while maintaining oversight of the status of product plans, roadmaps, and possible implications to the business.
  • Handle complex daily activities and think both tactically and strategically to deliver quick but efficient solutions to meet business needs.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project management and program administrative experience, Product Lifecycle Management, PMO.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
  • MBA degree.
  • Experience developing innovative products, strategic roadmaps or loyalty solutions in a large matrix organization.
  • Keen eye for detail and excellent analytical and investigative/problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
  • Experience and demonstrated competency in managing resources, tasks, contracts, scope, and budgets for projects in the context of large, enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of financial project budgets, variance management and metrics/reporting.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
