What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for ensuring the proper inventory control measures are in place at the forward DC's, including: inbound prioritization, capacity, and discrepancy resolution; overseeing cycle count results as well as shrink, resolving inbound discrepancies with the Distribution Centers, ensuring 3PL's established goals and metrics are met, and working as the liaison between manufacturers and the Distribution Centers to resolve receiving discrepancies. You will lead and manage quarterly inventory audits, partnering with the Revenue Accounting team, and will manage/monitor the inventory SOX compliance controls with 3PLs and VZ systems.

  • Establish the necessary procedures and practices to conduct Revenue Accounting and SOX assertions audits.
  • Direct the effort to onboard new VCI/VMI OEMs, and standardize the onboarding process.
  • Manage all inventory/shrink investigations with Corporate Security and 3PLs.
  • Lead on-site audits of 3PL cycle count performance and processes.
  • Manage inventory KPI’s, promptly identify undesirable trends, and recommend “best in class” solutions across all DC’s.
  • Provide distribution receiving management where DC’s receive ~ 300,000 devices and accessories on a daily basis from all OEM’s, and where you will manage $2B of company assets and the security of those assets.
  • Lead efforts to standardize and automate inbound receiving processes and controls across all DC’s.
  • Partner with the Finance team to ensure the completion of all audits and adherence to SOX requirements.
  • Lead cross functional initiatives for ongoing system IT infrastructure development and enhancements.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Supply Chain experience.
  • Inventory management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • MBA or Master’s degree.
  • Excellent forward thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills and an ability to implement process improvements.
  • SAP experience.
  • Ability to partner with internal and external vendors.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams, lead projects and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines on time.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and follow up skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced dynamic environment.
