What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for leading the overall Verizon Wireless strategy and execution for a Big 6 Agent.

  • Develop sales and marketing plans, advertising strategy, promotion development and execution, training, and merchandising execution.
  • Grow activations and drive overall sales improvement through interactions in account management.
  • Support and manage the contract between VZW and the Agent to ensure compliance and identify opportunities within contract.
  • Ensure the compensation structure of the Agent is in alignment with driving performance results desired.
  • Improve the customer experience by evaluating processes of both VZW and Agent and execute the plan for continuous improvement.
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) through promotions, offers, training, and advertising.
  • Provide regular KPI analytics daily/weekly, as well as ad hoc reporting to senior leadership to identify sales opportunities.
  • Partner with the Agent to develop sales goals and growth initiatives that meet VZW objectives.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) to channel partners for all business requirements.
  • Manage the Agent executive leadership customer relation escalations to resolution.
  • Negotiate with the Agent to achieve desired strategies and tactics.
  • Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to accomplish desired business objectives.
  • Support, coordinate and lead VZW field sales teams to implement national and local objectives.
  • Lead all market communication content for assigned Agent specific initiatives and weekly updates.
  • Oversee all commission discrepancies for the Agent, and drive to resolution.
  • Manage with internal and external inventory teams to ensure all inventory needs are met for the assigned Agent, including Agent specific forecasts and ongoing timely updates as business needs change.
  • Act as the main liaison between the Agent and internal merchandising teams to ensure our brand is well represented.
  • Frequently visit store locations, including those outside of the local market.
  • Present sales plans to executive management for approval and implementation.
  • Ensure marketing and advertising funds are effectively spent by reviewing impacts of promotions and recommending opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead overall VZW strategy and execution to grow sales and share in a strategic Agent.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Three or more years of marketing, sales or indirect channel management.
  • Leadership abilities to set direction and work with internal and external teams to accomplish objectives.
  • Self-motivation, and the ability to take smart risks and consistently demonstrate positive results.
  • Competencies including planning and strategic/critical analysis of business cases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience interacting with executive level management.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Advanced PowerPoint presentation and Excel skills.
