What you’ll be doing...

  • Advocate for the customer by anticipating customer's expectations and delivering a clear, simple to understand, accurate bill
  • Utilize customer focus groups, usability studies, workshops, industry best practices, and customer calibration calls to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive efficiencies by influencing new initiatives and key billing processes to maximize self serve (online, apps, social media, TV) and deflect calls
  • Write user stories that create the best billing experience for our customers; end-to-end billingtest/trace review of said user stories
  • Support new product launches and product restructures for optimal billing customer experience
  • Alignthe billing experience across multiple touch points such as video bill, email, online bill view and TVto ensureconsistency from advertisement to bill

What we’re looking for...

We are looking for an innovative leader who is passionate about creating a great billing experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is customer focused and is comfortable working with IT, marketing and business transformation to drive innovative solutions to billing call drivers. The candidate must have a proven ability to work cross functionally to communicate and execute on billing strategy and our core objectives.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Comfort working with Excel, Google Sheets
  • Project Management Experience

Even better if you have:

  • Working knowledge of Verizon Product Factory (VPF)
  • Call center experience involving billing
  • Experience working with Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written skills
  • Understanding of billing processes, including bill format, bill messaging, and bill descriptions
  • Familiarity with our Agile project management process and writing user stories
  • Knowledge of our billing systems for Fios and Core products
  • Knowledge of our product offerings
