What you’ll be doing...

  • Scheduling aircraft for in-house corporate flight department.
  • Providing centralized scheduling service for all company aircraft.
  • Receiving and procuring approved requests for transportation from corporate officers.
  • Initiating the scheduling process by coordinating departures, destination times, and locations and obtaining airport slots when needed.
  • Coordinating the assignment of aircraft and flight crew with the aviation department.
  • Providing reports for company and government reporting requirements.
  • Coordinating crew visas and/or passports, and arranging customs and tracking training records.
  • Arranging passenger ground transportation when necessary.
  • Coordinating outside services with outside vendors and suppliers.
  • Submitting Electronic Advance Passenger Information System (eAPIS) manifests.
  • Scheduling supplemental lift with fractional operations as needed.
  • Coordinating with and obtaining TSA approvals/waivers to operate at Washington Reagan International.
  • Providing some non-scheduling support as needed.
  • Providing on-call, overnight and weekend coverage on a rotating basis.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of a corporate flight department.
  • Knowledge of aircraft usage compliance government policies.
  • Knowledge of FOS or other computerized scheduling system(s).

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Experience supporting a culture of safety and customer service.
  • FAA dispatcher certification.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic atmosphere with top level executives and their teams.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to proactively look for ways to improve.
  • Attention to detail and organization skills to handle multiple tasks and projects.
