What you’ll be doing...

You will Evaluate and drive new reporting requirements and design performance reporting solutions to meet the needs of the business ranging from executive-focused scorecards and dashboards to rep-level performance analysis. Employee is required to provide advanced analytical support and training/oversight to team members and customers as required. Employee is responsible for identifying reporting opportunities, defining report content and structure, validating results, and conducting operational training to the field as required.

  • Provide analytical support to direct and indirect report team as regular deliverables or adhoc requests. Role may require identifying reporting opportunities, defining report content, structure and business requirements, validating results, and conducting operational training to the field.
  • Design and Develop reporting via Oracle BI 11g (OBIEE) requiring detailed understanding of Physical/Business Model/Presentation layers.
  • Use report development techniques via OBIEE and other platforms to develop performance scorecards, dashboards, adhoc analysis, and others. Support reporting needs outside of BI infrastructure as needed. Requires collaboration and partnerships throughout Verizon.
  • Complex projects ranging from reporting performance analysis to integration of new data into complex reporting system (OBIEE, Oracle, TeraData) that would require collaboration across IT, business and support organizations for consistency and alignment. Work directly with Verizon affiliates for aligned metric definition, labeling and reporting and identify data sources to meet those requirements.
  • Drive short and long term organizational reporting strategy decisions by delivering Executive ready results and ensuring data syncs across reports and reporting platforms.
  • Develop and execute validation activities to insure the quality and integrity of reporting data as new and refined reporting capabilities are deployed.

What we’re looking for...

Employee is given general priorities from management and is relied upon to drive requirements and proactively build new reporting, working independently. Employee will interact regularly with executives across the company and is expected to support their requests with minimal supervision.

You’ll need to have:

  • Associates degree
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Broad range of knowledge across multiple functional areas to include: Ordering, Provisioning, Assurance, Call Center, Customer Care
  • Experience working in a web-based dynamic reporting environment and coding skills (Oracle BI, SQL)
  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Finance, or other quantitative discipline or four or more years of work experience.
  • Managed projects and delivered results for multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to build/maintain interpersonal relationships with direct reports, peers, and executives.
  • Ability to work independently, coordinate within a team, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • High level of motivation and ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities within a demanding environment.
