What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Analyst position will support National Operations in a program management role. The candidate will be responsible for multiple operational solutions that will support internal device allocation and distribution. Support will require administration of end to end process flow including end user and 3PL vendor management. This will require collaborative engagement with our 3PL vendor and numerous internal partners, including: reporting, finance, supply chain management, compliance, legal, and business analytics. This role will be responsible for being the primary interface with internal work groups (Retail Operations, Training, Public Relations, Foundation, B2B Sales) to understand and meet their device needs, increase efficiency and create a Best In Class customer experience. Candidate will be skilled in prioritization, meeting complex needs with simple execution and able to meet multiple objectives concurrently.

Program Management:

Candidate will be expected to manage multiple programs. They will be the primary owner of the relationship of internal work groups. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating and recommending requests based on the programs ROI potential and the strategic fit within National Operations and the companies priorities. Candidate will have full ownership of their assigned programs and be responsible for interacting with internal work groups in ensure the success of their programs. Interfacing with Legal, HR, Finance (employee accounts, compliance), Device Marketing, PR, and Market leadership will be critical for the success of this position.

Process Improvements:

Responsibilities will include the end to end management of various internal device distribution programs. These programs are both highly visible and essential to financial success across multiple business segments. Program management will require collaboration with both internal and external customers to negotiate terms and program expectations. Candidate will be expected to closely monitor all daily reconciliation reporting and external factors that influence inventory transactions as well as downstream impacts of the activity completed. They will work to identify and document any factors or processes that are negatively impacting team production or efficiencies. Candidate will be highly engaged with internal work groups to anticipate needs, identify trends and forecast for all inventory and order types. This will require working knowledge of the entire process flow from order creation and data flow through various internal and external applications and databases to the operational process of receipt and disposition of product through supply chain facilities. Close partnership and collaboration with both internal and external teams will be required to create and drive new requirements or enhancements to existing processes, this includes enhancements to internal customer facing applications, including the SAP inventory management system. Strong analytical skills will be essential to the success of the candidate in this position.

Daily and weekly Reporting:

Candidate will be expected to create and review reporting on production and service levels for all operational activities. Reporting will include production, service level, internal and external factors, downstream impacts, customer impacts, and many other metrics and key performance indicators. Candidate will review these reports and prioritize with anticipated needs to ensure internal work group needs are met. This will require providing summary level reporting to national operations leadership.

System and ER testing:

Candidate will be expected to evaluate and provide direction for internal system enhancements. Candidate will provide testing of system updates or enhancements, and new applications as it relates to the inventory management systems and the functions these programs perform within. They will be required to test all changes in both test and development environments prior to approval by national operations and supply chain organizations for implementation. This will require in depth knowledge of all related systems and applications functionality and capabilities. Strong data analytics will be essential to this process. Additional skills such as reporting and code development will greatly accelerate the learning and application of system knowledge for testing.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Business acumen, effective oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and risk assessment skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proficient working with large amounts of data to interpret, summarize, and build business case for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Deep and broad knowledge of connected devices, smartphones, tablets and accessories is imperative.
  • Knowledge of internal systems preferred including but not limited to Vision, CETOM and SAP.
  • SQL and VBA experience preferred.
  • Highly developed critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to organize conflicting priorities and optimize customer impacting solutions to drive resolution in required time frame.
  • Aggressive self-starter that can succeed working independently in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Ability to develop collaborative, cross functional partnerships within internal and external work group organizations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, fostering engagement from external team members in order to achieve team goals.
  • PMP/PMI certification preferred.
  • Six Sigma Belt certification preferred.
  • Related work experience required with five or more years preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or ten or moreyears related work field preferred.
