What you’ll be doing...

The Benefits Administratorwill provide support to the benefits team that reviews and implements accommodations for employees with disabilities and medical needs across the Wireline footprint.

  • Answering the team 800 number and assisting employees and supervisors with questions on the process and individual cases.
  • Entering cases and documentation in the database.
  • Sending correspondence to the employee and the supervisory team.
  • Managing the intake of requests and reviews.
  • Interacting with our medical vendor
  • Creating team and ad hoc reports.
  • Interpreting medical information.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • One or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Human Resources to include benefits, ADA, absence, medical restrictions, and/or health impairment.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Ability to understand and work in a legal environment
  • Knowledge of the PeopleSoft system or similar case management tool.
  • Strong technical ability with Microsoft products; Word, Excel, Outlook and GSuite.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with interruptions, changing priorities and busy work environment.
  • Ability to work with managers and employees at all levels in the business.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, fact-finding, and multi-tasking skill sets
  • Strong organizational skills
