What you’ll be doing...

You will join our Federal Sector legal team, responsible for working closely with Senior Contract Managers on a portfolio of contracts with the United States government.

  • Analyzing customer solicitations, preparing non-disclosure agreements and teaming agreements, developing proposal documents, managing reps and certs and other standard certifications, maintaining SAM.gov registrations, and administering contract close-outs.
  • Supporting Senior Contract Managers and Attorneys with special projects.
  • Managing timelines and deliverables for contracts and proposals.
  • Developing pricing and getting approvals for non-standard agreements.
  • Ensuring that contract and proposal processes are following internal and external guidelines.
  • Collaborating across the organization for input, feedback, and approval on agreements.
  • Facilitating and negotiating between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting all aspects of our sale and provisioning of services to the federal government.
  • Assisting in responding to customer solicitations such as requests for proposals, invitations to bid, and proposals submitted in response to such solicitations.
  • Maintaining contract files and communicating with government Contracting Officers.
  • Conducting customer negotiations over both contract terms and contract disputes.
  • Assisting counsel in negotiating non-standard terms and significant contract disputes.
  • Monitoring and helping to ensure compliance with requirements associated with doing business with the government.
  • Participating in internal and external compliance audits.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with contract managers and/or attorneys.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting and procedures.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Managed and supported contracting of federal government for customers.
  • Experience in sales, finance, legal, and/or contract negotiations.
  • Juggled multiple projects under tight guidelines.
  • Demonstrated influence and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as sound business judgment.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
