What you’ll be doing...

Reporting to the Director of Field Marketing, the Manager of Marketing will develop, lead, and implement a broad range of marketing priorities. The selected candidate will play a key role in navigating complex business and management challenges, collaborating across a variety of business partners.

The manager is responsible for leading a wide variety of functions including strategic planning, operations, project management, administration, and executive support. They must be able to lead meetings with senior staff, track action items, and push deliverables to completion. The manager will also lead executive support efforts such presentation readiness, operations review cadence, and lead charge on required materials for senior level sessions. This individual will also be actively engaged in the Marketing Plan process, prioritize and track key initiatives, structure and maintain cadence of key planning, strategy and prioritization meetings with key stakeholders.

A primary responsibility of this manager is establishing and managing the local marketing team’s budget of approximately $20M. In this capacity the Manager will be responsible to closely collaborate with the HQ and local market finance, sponsorship and marketing teams. Monthly reporting and tracking will be part of the normal cadence. This role will also play an integral role in working through the annual budget forecasting for the local marketing team to ensure adequate funding for priority initiatives. The role will monitor media spend and sponsorship activity, provide overall governance on local spend, process invoices as necessary and provide guidance to market peers leads, while ensuring contractual obligations meet budget guidelines. The manager will also develop policies and procedures that improve processes and/or efficiencies.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Project Management Experience

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience providing executive project management support that involves driving solutions and ensuring priorities are met.
  • Experience managing projects simultaneously, change tasks quickly and see projects to the end.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation.
  • Ability to adapt to change.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a natural self-motivator.
  • Experience working alongside senior leaders.
  • Ability to be a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent follow through and comfortable working independently and communicating proactively with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete time-sensitive tasks, adapt quickly to last-minute changes and manage multiple projects at once.
