What you’ll be doing...

Verizon Partner Solutions (VPS) is a wholesale service provider for global voice, data, and IOT solutions. We are constantly innovating to bring cutting-edge technologies to our customers to help them work smarter and faster. You can be part of the team to make this happen.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and talented solutions engineer to join the team. In this role, you will focus on supporting our customer base to be successful. You will be challenged to work across a variety of customer issues and needs.

  • Provide customized technical solutions and sales leadership to our Wholesale customers (primarily wireless carriers) and other large wholesale accounts.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, including weekly, monthly and/or quarterly meetings as needed.
  • Drive revenue by uncovering Sales opportunities via technical discussions and strong customer relationships.
  • Provide product and technology training and team with Sales partners to drive and maximize revenue.
  • Work with wireless carriers to utilize Verizon products to support their small and macro cell deployments.

You are a seasoned professional who has the technical expertise and leadership capabilities to work effectively with diverse teams of both internal and external customers. Understanding the latest trends and technologies and the possibilities it creates excites you. As a strong communicator, you can explain complex technical solutions in a straightforward manner by taking into account the capabilities of the audience and adjusting your message as appropriate.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Analytic, financial, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Project management skills.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or four or more years of experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with Small & Macro cell deployment.
  • Knowledge and experience designing and selling C-RAN or Ethernet/IP, or Optical and Dark Fiber solution.
  • Strong presentation skills to articulate Verizon’s technical value proposition.
