What you’ll be doing...

You’ll lead a team of supervisor with 100 plus employees and proactively initiate and support key leadership strategies to drive performance, quality, employee development, and engagement. These measures will be critical in ensuring that you and your team deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Leading, motivating, and developing a customer care team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Analyzing work activities and recommending performance measures and metrics in support of the center’s business plan and targets.
  • Presenting ideas and complex information to various audiences effectively.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to analyze and develop Customer Service practices and procedures.
  • Applying policies, procedures, and guidelines appropriately and being a role model for communication skills, work ethic, and judgment.

Customer service is your middle name and your commitment to excellence is contagious. You know how to motivate and inspire a team—flexing your style as appropriate. Developing people and watching them grow is important to you. You thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities. Following process is important but you keep an eye for how to make things run even more smoothly.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Led and developed a diverse team to meet high performance standards. Ideally in a customer service call center.
  • Analyzed performance metrics, optimized processes, and improved outcomes.
  • Participated in the Verizon Leadership Development Program.
