What you’ll be doing...

Your role is to manage the Immigration, I-9 and Expat Processes for all Verizon team members. Using your Human Resources expertise and a deep understanding of our business, you’ll guide effective interactions with internal stakeholders and our vendors. You’ll partner with Human Resources to communicate process and changes and develop solutions to support business challenges, where appropriate.

  • Leading the immigration and I-9 teams within the talent acquisition organization.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal policies.
  • Managing the vendor relationships.
  • Improving operational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Managing the Global Mobility program for employees on short and long-term assignments in the US or abroad.
  • Partnering with tax consultants and payroll to support ongoing management of pay and taxation.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for immigration, I-9 and global mobility programs.
  • Counseling HR Business Partners on policy and practice associated with these functional areas.

You’ll need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience in human resources, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of or experience with immigration and/or I-9 regulations.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience with global mobility programs.
  • Proven ability to be detail-oriented with experience leading projects.
  • Ability to communicate with various level of leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
  • Vendor management skills.
