What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for implementation and infrastructure support for the WebEx Conferencing Platform, Cisco UCCE (Cisco ICM, Cisco CVP and Cisco Unified Communications Manager) in a 24X7 enterprise environment. This includes but is not limited to hardware and software life cycle management, server implementation and maintenance, application level support and documentation of the supported environment.

  • Develops and adheres to established systems standards and procedures.
  • Works effectively within the team to complete assigned moves, adds and changes within approved change windows.
  • Actively participates in assigned project teams and produces high quality deliverables in a timely fashion.
  • Provides second level support for the Operation team and quickly responds to outages to minimize downtime to customer impacting, mission critical systems.
  • Proactively communicates status reports and issues to management.
  • Successfully completes all relevant general and technical training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives.
  • Internal Verizon WebEx Support
    • Handles Global Verizon WebEx deployment (SaaS with Cloud Connected audio), including managing Domestic, International and Oath WebEx sites.
    • Performs day to day maintenance, upgrades and 3rd level end user support, including supporting our Help Desk team, End User Support and Operations team to ensure user stability and quality results.
    • Provides deployment, SSO integration, Security best practices and upgrade support.
    • Performs end user training, environment testing, user documentation, and communication to successfully manage this business critical system.
    • Handles three instances of Cisco Unified Call Center Enterprise and Cisco Voice Portal and the hardware that hosts the application.
    • Performs implementation, support and ongoing upgrades of the Cisco UCCE, CVP and Call Manager systems used to support the Verizon internal communications platforms for Admin/Retail and Call Center environments.
    • Provides day to day support and project implementation to support larger UC support teams.
  • Unified Communications Cisco UCS server platform
    • Performs implementation and ongoing upgrades of the x86 platform that is deployed in several Data Centers, including server tech refreshes, ESXi upgrades and security patching of our compute platform.
  • Server Virtualization and Automation
    • Performs implementation, support and ongoing upgrades to our virtual server environment, VMware platform and management systems, including hardware tech refreshes, project support, OS upgrades, database management/upgrades and on-going security patching and best-practices.
    • Drives new technology and automation into our MOPs to ensure quality, reduce change error rates and increase availability and reduce downtime for our end users.
    • Develops processes to support over 1000 virtual servers supported by the team to reduce risk and downtime and standardize deployments.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
  • Ability to communicate effectively to users at all levels of our organization and support them in resolving issues, improving service and training users on new features and functionality of the systems supported.
  • Working knowledge and/or certifications of the following technologies:
    • WebEx Voice/Video Conferencing Platform
    • Cisco UCS Compute System
    • Windows/Linux - OS
    • Security/Active Directory
    • vmWare vCenter/vSphere/ESXi
    • Cisco UC Platforms (ICM/UCCE/CVP/UCCE/CUIC)
    • Networking
    • PowerShell/Python
    • Amazon Web Services
