What you’ll be doing...

As Project Manager, you will responsible for supporting the Wireless Network Assurance teams across the country. Your role will have responsibilities focused primarily on standardization of processes and systems/tools across the Wireless Field Operations & Assurance organization.

  • Successful partnership and interface with the Engineering and Operations organizations will be critical to deliver on key initiatives.
  • Additional assignments may regularly include direct Corporate or Regional special projects, customer support initiatives, internal and external communications, and project coordination between other organizations, markets, and headquarters.
  • Aggregate all Wireless Field ideation processes (both improvement and standardization) and assess/determine the appropriate path forward and drive to full implementation including automation of existing work activity across the country.
  • Work closely with the Network Assurance Field teams and NSS to ensure efforts are prioritized and standardized.
  • Project / Program manage all Wireless Field initiatives related to standardization – for example, the trial, assessment, and adoption of best practices for Wireless Field employees.
  • Develop and implement action plans from all executive escalations and drive national fixes.
  • Deliver transformational strategy for Wireless Field Operations systems/tools & processes.
  • Develop and implement practices to create efficiencies within the organization; communicate and translates functional/operational goals into team goals and manage implementation of policies and procedures.

You would also work with our Special Projects team to:

  • Coordinate and lead regular portfolio level meetings with NS Program Leads to review roadmaps, clear obstacles, and set direction as priorities shift.

  • Review and implement new process and/or equipment additions to the network assurance.
  • Partner with teams to execute annual disaster recovery exercises and drills to ensure adequate preparedness.
  • Support the creation of a national standard EOC (emergency operations center) model and communicate documentation nationally.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in satellite solution options and road map moving forward.
  • Provide executive in communication with cross functional teams.

The ideal candidate for this position will be able to shift priorities on the fly and tackle both short and long term initiatives with a sense of urgency. This candidate will be comfortable interacting and presenting to executives and is capable of building strong cross functional relationships. They are capable of managing national efforts and initiatives that require building project teams and communication structures to ensure successful implementation.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.

  • Six or more years of related experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Project management skills (PMP and/or Agile).

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office product suite: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Skills in Google Suite products: Sheets, Slides, Docs.

  • Executive Presentation skills.

  • Understanding of fiber transport, microwave, satellite solutions, and disaster/crisis responses.

  • Basic understanding of 4G LTE Wireless network RAN and CORE.

  • Basic understanding of relational databases.

  • Business reporting acumen and data analysis experience.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

  • Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems and then communicate and implement those solutions.
