What you’ll be doing...

Consumer & Marketplace Insights (CMI) is Verizon’s consumer insights team. We conduct customer and marketplace research to deliver impactful insights that drive our strategies, business decisions and overall competitive advantage. We are a team of professionals in areas like qualitative studies, quantitative surveys, research and statistical analysis, visualization, ideation/innovation work, insight communication, analytical tool development, text analytics, tracking and monitoring tools, etc. who serve as a centralized center of excellence for insights across consumer operations.

You will learn from and contribute to the success of a fortune 15 technology company.

  • Partnering with leaders to understand key business issues impacting the consumer experience.
  • Designing and shaping research to yield actionable insights.
  • Managing research agency partners and research projects from scoping to delivery.
  • Synthesizing information from various sources into meaningful insights.
  • Presenting actionable recommendations to leaders.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with transactional and survey data related to customer satisfaction, experience and/or Voice of the Customer (VOC).
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and a statistical package like SPSS/SAS or R.
  • Experience with Multivariate testing and techniques.
  • Experience working in corporate marketing, advertising/media agency or market research firm.

Even better if you have:

  • An MS/MMR in Statistics, Mathematics, Research, Psychology or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Verizon business units and marketing organizations or the telecommunications/wireless industry.
  • Knowledge of marketing departments, teamwork in a cross-functional and/or matrix organization and/or national/regional structure.
  • Knowledge and use of advertising and brand tracking, and business KPI metrics.
  • Familiarity with social media and other online/digital media including digital advertising and digital customer experiences.
  • Articulate, confident, and a team player mentality.
  • Familiarity with Tableau.
