What you’ll be doing...

Verizon Digital Media Services (VDMS) is looking for a self-motivated, top performing Channel Development Manager to work with our Channel Partners and aggressively grow our Content Delivery Network (CDN) & Video Streaming Services.


  • Enable new and grow existing reseller relationships in region by providing sales assistance, product training, best practice implementation, as well as customer support and retention
  • Assist with reseller revenue growth through pipeline management, goal setting, lead registration, and direct sales involvement when needed.
  • Work with Regional Channel Partners to identify and engage new Content Delivery Network & Uplynk Video Streaming opportunities and see them through the sales process to close.
  • Maintain sales pipeline with weekly reports to VDMS Channel Management
  • Manage and resolve channel conflict with the VDMS direct sales team or other Channel Partners
  • Manage product through continual roadmap updates and amending agreements to add new features and functionality as they become available.
  • Coordinate co-marketing plans and assist reseller with marketing of Verizon EdgeCast products in their market.
  • Have a thorough understanding of and ability to articulate and demonstrate VDMS products and value proposition on behalf of our local reseller partner
  • Negotiate Channel Partner agreement renewals and revisions to drive higher revenue commitments

What we’re looking for...

  • Proven success at inside sales or channel account management of CDN products andservices.
  • Experience building relationships from the Director to “C” level in the Telecom, Cloud Services, or Digital Media sector is preferred
  • The ability to lead and grow revenue through the efforts of others is required
  • Travel to meet with each reseller several times a year
  • Must understand CDN and Video Streaming technologies and be able to speak intelligently about core CDN and Over-the-Top Video Streaming concepts
  • Experience utilizing the Salesforce.com CRM is required
  • Qualified candidates must be able to maintain and grow internal and external relationships that promote growth of the reseller channel
