What you’ll be doing...

  • Resolves incidents in IP networks.
  • Handles trouble tickets for all IP incidents.
  • If necessary: Refers trouble tickets to adequate teams.
  • Performs troubleshooting on customer networks.
  • Initiates activities to restore the service.
  • Has overall knowledge of IP networks.
  • Works with technical support of suppliers.
  • Acts in accordance with Verizon’s information security policies.
  • Protects assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.
  • Reports security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization.
  • Supports account teams.
  • Maintains a good understanding of customer’s needs.
  • Works closely with engineering teams responsible for the customer’s network.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work using own initiative.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Good knowledge of network architectures and technologies.
  • Vendor Certifications.
  • ITIL trained.
