What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for Front Door support of Digital Operations projects and National (company-wide) projects that impact Verizonwireless.com and MyVerizon. You will be the first point of contact for all teams that require Digital Operations resources, handling 125-150 internal requests each week and 5-10 external requests that require knowledge of the Digital Ops team to determine which team is impacted for each project.

  • Handle end to end Project Management of Tactical Projects that impact Verizonwireless.com and MyVerizon.
  • Facilitate, manage, and report status on all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial concept through stakeholdering, requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment and ROI tracking.
  • Work with cross functional IT and DO Implementation teams to ensure project release alignments.
  • Review all incoming change requests and evaluate for impacts to Digital Operations.
  • Communicate with National Sponsors to ensure Digital Ops receives adequate information for project submissions that will drive Digital sales.
  • Provide readouts of scoped impacts so leadership can effectively assign Digital Operations resources to a request.
  • Create JIRA subtasks to engage the Digital Operations Design Team.
  • Update the resource log daily and facilitate movement of projects through the JIRA Workflow.
  • Continuously provide feedback on process improvements to workflows and assist with the implementation of approved process changes.
  • Track project performance, specifically analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Provide leadership for projects assigned including an understanding of requirements, vision and scope; key resources to engage and the assignment of tasks.
  • Schedule and lead meetings as well as capture meeting notes.
  • Control deliverables and manage to target dates.
  • Control risks, issues and action items and mitigate where needed.
  • Remove barriers and manage project scope.
  • Create task list, project plan and success factors.
  • Solve problems, manage communications and build consensus.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in the telecommunications or wireless industry.
  • Two or more years of eCommerce experience working with workflow processes.
  • One or more years of wireless project management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Understanding of Verizon Wireless online portals and associated sales/support teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite and JIRA.
