What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a marketing superstar and proven thought leader to assume a Digital Marketing role working on our flagship My Verizon App. You will leverage a customer-centric mindset to identify and implement engagement strategies that leverage the Verizon app’s industry leading experience and turn it into the primary channel that our customers learn about Verizon’s products and services, self-serve their account, and purchase the right plan, device and accessories to meet their needs.

  • Create and execute on innovative strategies to improve Active App User metrics and increase visits, sales and transactions via the My Verizon App.
  • Partner across all functions and channels of Verizon to build digital tools and communications which drive awareness of and traffic to the My Verizon App.
  • Create business requirements and user stories for enhancements to the app experience and platform.
  • Work with design teams to develop wireframes and comps that meet the requirements of the business.
  • Lead a matrix team of marketing and technical resources to develop and launch project requirements on time and per specifications in an Agile work environment.
  • Create marketing requirements for campaigns to drive traffic, transactions, and sales within the app.
  • Work with marketing teams to build, deploy and monitor app engagement campaigns via Push, SMS, Email, and more.
  • Identify and optimize segmentation criteria and targeting to build the most impactful campaign strategies.
  • Build test frameworks and continually improve campaigns through testing and optimization.
  • Support the broader customer lifecycle messaging strategy within Verizon.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and provide deep data analysis and insight to senior leadership.

What we’re looking for...

You are comfortable with digital platforms and technology, have extensive experience in digital engagement, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. You are a self-starter, detail-oriented & extremely organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have the ability to effectively communicate strategies, concepts and analysis with peers and leaders at all levels.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital B2C Marketing.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Three or more years of experience with Digital Engagement or Digital CRM.
  • Experience with digital customer experience development and customer journey analysis.
  • Experience in developing requirements for digital platforms in an Agile environment.
  • Proven track record leading a multidisciplinary team to execute on marketing or technical requirements.
  • Strong competency in the analysis and interpretation of digital channel data or results.
  • App Marketing or App Product Management experience.
  • Experience developing criteria and analysis of A/B Test or other User Testing.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
