What you’ll be doing...

The manager of 4G Micro Grassroots & 5G activation will lead a team of 4 employees responsible for developing and executing on strategic local activation plans to amplify the consumer segment marketing plan across our key microsegments. This role will also be responsible leading the team in uncovering new engagement strategies and local marketing vehicles to help our value propositions breakthrough in local communities.4G Micro Grassroots & 5G activation manager is also critical contributor of insights on activation effectiveness to shape forward looking strategic plans to scale segment programs.


  • Supports a geographical Area of the Consumer Business Unit, covering 20+ states to ensure flawless execution and delivery of segment marketing programs.
  • Single point of contact for their territory responsible for informing HQ teams on hyper local insights to drive local adoption of the 5G home and 5G ultra-wideband services.
  • Have a deep understanding of the marketing mix and segment program growth targets.
  • Have a baseline understanding of how the identified segment opportunity is distributed across the geographic area
  • Independently pursue, negotiate, and execute against activation opportunities that allow us to drive demand for local offers.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with marketing research, research strategy, or consumer research methodologies.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.
  • Digital experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.
  • Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
  • Analyzed what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
  • Juggled multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Designed custom research approaches to gain broader or deeper consumer and market insights.
  • Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% of the time
