What you’ll be doing...

Customers expect our networks to perform at a high level all the time. That’s where you come in. You will investigate, evaluate and resolve network and data performance issues to ensure optimal and reliable service for our customers. The work you’ll be doing will directly impact customer satisfaction and help keep us ahead of the competition.

  • Running parameter trials, analyzing and evaluating results.
  • Evaluating service performance trends and isolating root causes of impacted services.
  • Performing LTE and VoLTE testing with analyses of relevant key performance indicators.
  • Optimizing LTE and RAN networks using traditional and innovative means.
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints regarding service.
  • Optimizing embedded network for integration of new cell sites, small cells, and DAS system.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of LTE including VoLTE and RAN networks.
  • Knowledge of IP and transport protocols.
  • Valid driver license
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights as necessary.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with at least one data analysis/collection tool such as ALPT/ELPT, RTT, Irisview, and Datapro.
  • Experience with data analysis/post-processing tools such as Irisview and Windcatcher/Actix.
  • Knowledge of propagation and optimization modeling tools such as Atoll, Geoplan.
  • Knowledge of analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel and presentation software such as PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Unix, scripting tools.
  • Knowledge of mapping software such as MapInfo, Google Earth.
  • Knowledge of Nokia/fALU systems including SAM and 3GPP LTE standards.
  • An ability to differentiate and diagnose RAN and CORE related problems.
  • Knowledge of inter-modulation, distortion, interference detection, and mitigation techniques.
