What you’ll be doing...


  • Build solid configuration management automation for rapid application deployment and pipeline environments for large scale distributed system(s) on AWS server-less infrastructure.
  • Lead various aspects of security working with engineering, architects and the field operations team.
  • Build monitoring and alerting capabilities across full stack using modern tools.
  • Application Code review, design discussion, development etc.
  • Drive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment Initiatives.
  • Support creating and reviewing new features and roadmaps
  • Operational Support to resolve issues in production. Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve.
  • Build solution to have extensive disaster recovery
  • Develop tools to help scale prevention, detection, and mitigation of intrusions, DDoS attacks.
  • Bring in industry best practice(s) into organization and drive, deliver towards that.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance.
  • Experience with:
    • AWS Server-less products (specifically S3, SNS, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, MediaConvert, CloudWatch/Cloud Trail).
    • Deployment systems such as Jenkins and Terraform.
  • Experience in web technology and related coding languages – NodeJS, Python, ReactJS etc.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work with Public Safety Product Portfolio.
  • Eight or more years of related experience.
  • Extensive AWS knowledge with advance certification.
  • Good programming skills in Python or Go, and demonstrated ability to grasp new programming languages quickly.
  • Video experience.
  • Experience building solid configuration management for rapid application deployment and pipeline environments.
  • Strong working and deployment knowledge of internet security, PKI, LDAP, RBAC, SSL, HTTPS, TLS, DTLS.
  • Good understanding of large-scale distributed systems in practice, including multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring and storage systems, load balancing.
  • Experience in the Linux environment and a good understanding of its fundamentals and internals: filesystems, security, networking.
  • Solid understanding of software application builds and deployments and drive CI/CD from development through production pipeline.
  • A demonstrated passion for automation.
  • Strong desire to identify security vulnerabilities, reproduce them in the system, and apply patches to cloud infrastructure.
  • Results-oriented, collaborative professional with ability to work successfully in a matrixed organization.
  • Capability to be an effective communicator who is very conductive to working in a team environment.
  • Drive and a strong feeling of ownership.
  • Innovation and motivated by action to exceed the status quo.
  • Tech Stack:
    • Cloud Services: Mesos-DCOS/Kubernetes, Docker, Extensive AWS service(s).
    • Linux (Ubuntu), CoreOS, Windows.
    • Languages: Python, Shell Scripting.
    • Technology: Kafka, Cassandra, AWS Products, Neo4J.
    • Tools: Git, Docker, Cloudformation, TerraForm, Splunk/ELK, Container Monitoring, Synthetic API monitoring, DataDog.
    • Security: AWS Security practice, TLS, Data at REST/Motion.
