What you’ll be doing...

  • As a Security Focal Point, your job is to track and manage all security related initiatives that impact the Digital Workplace portfolio of applications ensuring that all initiatives are completed on a timely basis. In addition, you will be responsible for providing a monthly readout to the Digital Workplace leadership team.

  • Business Operations planning and execution in support of various leaders within the organization.

  • You will serve as the DWP liason to other security organizations and will ensure that all security tasks / communications are distributed back to your DWP internal SPOCS and application custodians.

  • You'll be required to build strong communication channels with DWP leadership, Security SPOCs and application custodians as well as the other Security organizations.

  • Analyze our current Agile processes, prioritize areas of improvement, and work alongside key stakeholders to implement the improvements.

  • Facilitate/participate in key Agile processes across Scrum teams.

  • Coach team members as needed, including resolving conflict.

  • Communicate project risks.

  • Manage projects in JIRA and Confluence, providing software training to team members as needed.

  • Monitor and report on key Agile performance metrics to leadership team.

  • Assist in training team members and other employees on Agile and Design Thinking concepts.

  • Planning and Execution of planning sessions, events, and materials associated with Business Operational directives.

  • In this role, you'll support Verizon's Credo through adherence to company policies, processes and practices.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need tohave:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:.

  • Experienced Agile Project Manager that can take our operations and offshore software development teams to the next level in adoption of Agile and Scrum practices.

  • Previous experiences, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to help drive increased effectiveness in the value and quality of software.

  • Two or more years of experience as an Agile Project Manager in a geographically dispersed environment.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills - can present formally or informally.

  • Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Good understanding of source code scanning tools such Fortify and for open source, Black Duck, identifying and re-mediating code vulnerabilities.

  • Good understanding of PEN testing, IP vulnerabilities and remediation.

  • Good understanding of OWASP.

  • Working knowledge of Asset Management and inventory tools such as VAST-APM.

  • Basic understanding of NIST-CSF, GDPR and CCPA.
