What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant, under limited supervision will be responsible for coordinating, assisting with and ensuring office efficiency for the Network organization in the Georgia/Alabama Region through high level administrative support that requires exercise of discretion, judgment, and negotiation.

This position reports directly to the Director and has primary responsibility for providing support to the Director as well as Network personnel located in the Alpharetta Regional Network Center and the other Network departments housed there.

This Professional is responsible for administrative support and the following:

  • Plan, coordinate & implement meetings, projects, travel, and schedules in support of the directors and network organization.
  • Coordinate facilities/meals for meetings/training classes/events as well as VP, ED, and Director meetings held at the Alpharetta RNC or other Alpharetta locations.
  • Efficiently support and coordinate supplies for employees and general office expenses at Alpharetta RNC.
  • Maintain, manage, and approve changes to the office seating chart.
  • Maintain monthly updates to the Network Employee phone listings and update the Network Email groups in Gmail.
  • Maintain monthly updates to the Network Org Chart and run headcount reports for employee tracking.
  • Point of contact for the GA/AL Employee Phone Business Use Account for Concession and Test phones. Works with Billing Group to audit, maintain, and update account information.
  • Partner with other executive assistants in the East Territory to support area network activities.
  • Perform other various administrative tasks according to standard procedures, i.e. expense reports, copying, compiling records, and maintaining files.
  • Compile and/or summarize information from other departments to prepare reports, letters or charts.
  • Creating, revising, and disseminating reports and documents in various software programs.
  • Accept delivery of mail and packages for the Alpharetta network office location and prepare packages for shipment.
  • Create Services PO’s for invoices mailed to Alpharetta: Examples include Building/Plant/Landscaping, Janitorial Services, Pest Control, Fire Inspections/Testing/Fire Extinguisher Certifications/Permit Fees/Renewals for MSC’s and cell sites, etc.
  • Fleet Coordinator for Georgia/Alabama. Track, maintain and organize all GA/AL vehicles in fleet. Coordinate ordering process of new vehicles. Manage retirement of old vehicles. Work with Corporate Fleet on registration of vehicles. Responsible for maintenance/administration of Pool vehicles.
  • Demonstrates creative, organized and forward looking planning capabilities. Strong communication skills utilized to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the activities and teams being supported.
  • Professional and team player who is able to influence a positive work environment at the Network office through initiated employee activities.
  • Excellent oral, verbal, data analysis and presentation skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related Windows-based software.
