What you’ll be doing...

The UAT Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, programing (scripting), testing and executing automated
tests across our Digital, POS and CARE applications. The UAT Automation
Engineer is expected to have expertise on all our applications, such as .COM,
Self-Serve, MobileFirst, ACSS, MPOS, etc. You will be expected to support
various releases, such as the Enterprise Release, all weekly content releases
and adhoc release items. You will need a solid JAVA programming skills and
experience using Selenium (appium is preferable as well).

  • Ability to execute, modify and enhance Selenium scripts as required for desktop/tablet and mobile applications
  • Expert skills in Selenium (3-5 years of hands on experience)
  • Appium/Mobile testing experience(1-2 years)
  • Expert skills in Java scripting with Selenium web driver.
  • Good understanding of Digital environments for .Com and Mobile Native
  • Knowledge and full understanding of the XPATH and object oriented programming
  • Highly skilled in following good coding practices
  • Custom Library development in java.
  • High proficiency in using Eclipse or IntelliJ for scripting and code debugging
  • Expert skills in JIRA and GIT version control
  • Solid experience in Cloud based/in-house device lab – such as Perfecto/Mint/Saucelabs/SeeTest
  • Full understanding of different Automation Frameworks
  • Strong ability to architect Automation solutions, including well thought out execution plans
  • Ability to manage, maintain and troubleshoot automated tests (solid debugging skills)
  • Ability to develop error handling and reporting methods
  • Ability to work within a team of automation engineers, manual testers, developers, Project managers and architecture groups
  • Full understanding of dynamic data – SQL at a high level is required
  • Web protocol knowledge a must, other protocols such as .net, java will be helpful

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Five or more years of automated testing experience (Selenium, Appium).
  • Four or more years of Selenium web driver with Java programming experience.
  • Three or more years of SQL experience.
  • Two or more years of C++ programming.

Even better if you have:

  • Background in telecom
  • Prior developmental skills or a developmental background
