What you’ll be doing...

We are seeking an experienced, resourceful Product Manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will be responsible for driving and defining the launch of new features for our Learning Album applications. The Learning Album applications lets us create and deliver digital content for any learning experience. You should have a solid grasp on data analytics, strategy, and Agile methodologies in order to deliver a high-quality product.

  • As the Product Manager you are expected to have the necessary people skills to develop virtual teams and coordinate Proof of Concept designs / features.
  • Excellent presentation building skills to provide updates to the business.
  • Project Management: Team organizes iteration planning, deliverable review, and retrospective meetings. Captures and tracks open questions and issues and sees them through to resolution. Ensures tasks are fully carved out for user stories. Leads QA testing and signoff.
  • Business Requirements: Gathers information from appropriate parties to develop epics, features, user stories, use cases, acceptance test criteria, etc.
  • Development: Manage the on-going UX/CX requirements for the Learning album platforms.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder engagement and communication with the necessary workgroups.
  • Application Support: Monitors support mailbox. Provides troubleshooting and technical support for end users.
  • Voice of Customer: Define and document the voice of customer needs.

What we’re looking for...

The ideal candidate should have strong technical background in product management/development and hardware/software infrastructure. You’ll need to understand all aspects of the Learning Album platforms and have a good grasp of technologies associated with the applications today.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field
  • Two years previous experience as a product owner, business analyst, or in a related field
  • Product Management experience.
  • Experience with Agile Product Development.
  • Experience in developing business cases and user stories to show value and ROI.
  • In-depth understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies, technical understanding of products, and up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.
  • Consolidate data into user stories and necessary product requirements
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team, product scrum team, and product leaders to establish timeline workflows and goals.
  • Solid understanding of the product lifecycle.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of software development.
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail.
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.

    Even better if you have:

  • A degree or Master’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • Certification for Product Ownership / Management.
  • Certification for Scrum Master.
  • Experience presenting to executive leadership teams internally and to external customers.
  • Project Management Experience: PMP (recommended).
  • Experience with Agile Product Development.
  • Collaborative, positive attitude with desire to work in a demanding, fast paced, exciting and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with unrelenting focus on practical business implications.
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills and most importantly of all, a key team player with a strong can do attitude.
