What you’ll be doing...

This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of local marketing grassroots programs designed to drive traffic, switcher activity, and sales growth. This individual will identify the most profitable segments to target and recommend actions to increase penetration; identify other profitable underpenetrated segments and markets and partner with other leads to build strategic and tactical plans to drive growth. Work cohesively with Retail VP, Retail Directors, and Indirect Directors to provide Market-wide sales project management support. Identify, recommend and implement improvement opportunities in marketing programs. Candidates will leverage segmentation, channel and competitive insights to identify and respond to sub-market growth opportunities. In this role, marketers will design programs that drive growth in priority segments, amplify promotional drive periods and act on unique market conditions to maximize growth and retention.

  • Ensure exceptional program/initiative development to enhance sales effectiveness and drive store traffic including local sales events, social and experiential programming, and sponsorship activation.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and development to other team members on marketing program development and execution.
  • Identify marketing areas of opportunity, leverage business intelligence, aggregate sub-market insights, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Execute Market initiatives to exceed KPI’s.
  • Serve as the escalation point for all marketing operation issues to drive timely resolution.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel upto approximately 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.
  • Digital experience and an understanding of trends and key business drivers.
  • Presented findings and insights targeted to what that audience cares about (up to the executive level).
  • Analyzed what’s important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
  • Juggled multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Designed custom research approaches to gain broader or deeper consumer and market insights.
  • Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team.
