What you’ll be doing...

Review and analyze the project requirements and risk assessment to ensure the software requirements are mapped to business needs are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.

Design the required Test strategy, Test plan in line with the scope and organization standards and identify the test metrics to be gathered.

Communicate with the Verizon US / VDSI team members, as required and lead the testing kick-off meeting.

Partner with CRM Implementation vendors, E2E testing teams to do effective defect management.

Define QA metrics & KPI and standard operating procedures, as needed, to effectively execute the principles and responsibilities of software quality assurance.

Evaluate and identify the required test automation and test management tools

Estimate the testing to be done and negotiate with management to acquire the necessary resources, recognize test automation tools and ensure training of team.

Get information on the latest releases/ builds from the development team and Responsible for assuring that output from the software development process includes adequate identification and interpretation of product requirements, such as:

a) Traceability requirements, b) Test requirements, c) Usability, etc.
Determine, procure, control, maintain and optimize the test environment (hardware, software and network)

Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.

Create and maintain the required test automation framework(s), Creating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium WebDriver, Element locator, Java and TestNG Annotations to perform Functional and Regression Test Automation. Review the test automation created by the Software Test Engineers and get them to address the review comments

Schedule and execute the test automation on the project (Like automation scripts on different browsers/environments & report defects/results)

Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management to implement test strategy.

Developing detailed, comprehensive and well-structured Test cases, to perform Execution of test cases. Review defect reports and assign valid defects to the relevant developer/ development manager

Defect tracing & Perform Automation testing using Jira.

Provide Weekly IR analysis, application performance and downtime reports


Perform Integration, Smoke and System testing on the enhanced application.

Consolidate and report test results to the concerned stakeholders, reporting of defects with bug tracker.

Perform through automated regression testing when bugs are resolved and Ensure that the test automation is updated based on the updated test cases.

Regular reporting to management about bugs and issues, prepare test summary report

What we’re looking for...

Job Opening

4+ years’ experience as Senior Software QA.

Experience in Functional & Automation/API Testing. Automation is a must using Selenium Framework.

Good knowledge on SDLC and STLC life cycles.


Hands on Experience in Selenium Tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, page object model, Selenium Aplickli frame work (experience on other automation tool is added advantage).

Experience in Integration, Regression (automation), and System testing.

Experience with performance and/or security testing.

Experience on Defect Life Cycle and Bug reporting tools exposure.

Experience in preparing test strategy, test plan and gathering test metrics.

Experience in Preparing test summary reports.

Knowledge on Salesforce or any other CRM tools considered as advantage

Understanding of programming concepts like Java considered as advantage.

Experience in Mobile device compatibility testing

Knowledge on Mobile Native Application Automation testing will be added advantage.

Experience in creating automation script and execute Test cases using Selenium WebDriver.

Experience in designing automation framework.


Other Mandatory Skills

Must have good oral and written Communication skills.

Must have experience into SOFTWARE TESTING and Ability to stick to deadlines.

Willing to deliver support in critical needs as per business requirement.

Educational qualification – BE in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, MCA or MTech
