What you’ll be doing...
This position will focus on optimizing Verizon’s contracting processes, tools and systems that support private and public sector business customers. The successful candidate will provide support to Verizon attorneys, sales teams and other internal groups to ensure that complex agreements for the sale of Verizon services and products are completed quickly and customers can readily place orders once an agreement is complete.
The successful candidate will:
- Help deal teams resolve contracting process and systems challenges to efficiently close deals with Verizon business customers.
- Support process and system updates as new services and products are made available to customers
- Work with Verizon attorneys to correct any contract errors resulting from process/system issues
- Track and report on key process and systems data
- Propose and implement actions to improve contracting processes/systems
- Support other contracting processes, tools and content as needed
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with complex commercial agreements and the systems used to administer such agreements.
Even better if you have:
- Innovative problem solving skills.
- A pragmatic approach to risk management.
- Knowledge of Agile development and human-centered design techniques.
- Attention to detail and an ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Personal initiative to develop, lead, and implement special projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work well with multiple internal groups.
