What you’ll be doing...

Verizon Enterprise Solutions (VES) supports global customers with CPE equipment.

This position is responsible for the Inventory Planning functions that support specific large customers with projected forecasts along with replenishment demand to care for general customers. CPE Order Coordination functions will also be performed by the VES Inventory Planner. A great deal of critical thinking, task completion, and process review must be accomplished along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, procuring and managing product stock levels for customer projects as well as stock levels based on regular run rate volumes
  • Addressing expedites and escalation
  • Utilizing company assets in lieu of buying new equipment in order to achieve cost avoidance objectives
  • Engaging with multiple teams across multiple organizations as needed to address and Order Coordination Tasks and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Building collaborative relationships by providing partnership and communication, both verball and in writing, with customers and internal teams.
  • Identifying areas for process improvements and enhanced operational efficiencies and establishing plans for implementation
  • Resolving problems while developing and implementing process improvements
  • Actively managing multiple time-sensitive requests, and effectively interfacing with all levels of management while supporting enhancements to the overall process
  • Tracking delivery service levels, and delivering expectations set forth by internal customers and partners

What we’re looking for...

This position requires a great deal of detail as well as the ability to look at the broader picture. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize tasks, think sequentially, have a sense of urgency, and consider customer service as the ultimate goal. The position also requires a considerable level of teamwork as well as the ability to operate independently. Excellent correspondence, both written and verbal, will be required with our domestic inventory warehouse, CEVA, as well as with project teams and suppliers.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in Provisioning Controller / Cofee system
  • Experience in SAP
  • Knowledge of inventory planning
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Handle escalations quickly and accurately.
  • Interact professionally with various levels of management.
  • Communication & Negotiation skills.
  • Decision making and executing problem resolution.
  • Strong statistical and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver exceptional service to demanding clientele.
