What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be responsible for project and program management, metrics creation, reporting, and workforce data analytics for the Verizon Business Group HR Business Partner team. You will be responsible for utilizing workforce data and other inputs to analyze trends, identify insights, and create and track action plans and strategies as they affect business planning and implementation. You will also be responsible for key initiatives such as Workforce Planning, analysis of Key Performance Indicators, Performance Management, etc.

  • Proactively supporting the delivery of HR processes and projects
  • Identifying insights that can be used to tailor employee engagement
  • Analyzing and monitoring workforce data including staffing, turnover, and performance. Working with HR Business Partner teams to design and implement strategic action plans as warranted to drive business results
  • Facilitating the consolidation of various data requests and/or HR initiatives
  • Lead reporting for critical projects and processes, including ORs

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience in a technical Human Resources or Business discipline.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, formula building, pivot tables, Vlookups, graphing and charting
  • Proficiency with writing queries, investigating results, refining output, documenting findings, and packaging findings into meaningful summaries
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Project Management Skills
  • Ability to analyze data and identify emerging trends and issues
  • Excellent computer skills that include Microsoft Office, Cognos, and PeopleSoft to analyze results and create presentations on a regular basis

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous business operations experience
  • Experience with Tableau and Minitab
  • Familiarity with statistics and statistical methodologies/techniques
