Overall Purpose

The Associate Director for Benelux Sales is responsible for directing the Sales organisation and generating revenue for Verizon Enterprise Solutions

This senior level position will actively engage with the client account and service teams, drive customer relationships and build, develop and inspire their sales teams in multiple markets across multiple EMEA geographies

The Associate Director Sales is responsible for managing and building a sales team with responsibility for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets; formulating and implementing sales strategy, go-to market model and to improve performance and measure ongoing productivity of the sales team; acquiring and strengthening internal talent; and ensuring customer satisfaction.

This includes providing feedback on market requirements, product capabilities and future industry developments in the assigned region.

This position will drive the sales team based on Verizon sales methodology including account penetration, prospect qualification, supervision of sales activity, sales process planning, negotiation, and closing all sales opportunities.

The Associate Director shall act as the leader of Verizon’s overall business relationship with defined clients and other nominated strategic engagements. You will be responsible for developing and executing an overall client business plan to achieve Verizon’s client objectives and nurturing senior Executive and Board level relationships as required for plan delivery. As a leader you will build trust and credibility at all levels within the client and internally at Verizon and thereby identify business client priorities and ensuring Verizon has a key role in achieving them. Ultimately it is the Associate Director Sales responsibility for shaping and driving all opportunities to a successful conclusion.

You will work with the wider business such as the Pre-Sales Teams and the Business Analyst Team to identify and shape sales strategies and then drive overall solution definition and specification, utilising and co-ordinating all specialist resources as needed, always ensuring the solution optimises the clients objectives and business needs as well as those of Verizon and its partners as required.
