What you’ll be doing...

Join the Value Based Marketing (VBM) organization focused on business intelligence, strategic targeting, and opportunity conversion optimization for Verizon (VZ). You will lead governance and auditing of customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives and broad-based campaign/offer analytics. Work with the team to enable information that will guide customer personalization strategies and decision making across all lines of business. Ensuring the right opportunities are prioritized and presented to the right customer at the right time optimized for revenue growth and preservation.

You will...

  • Establish automated controls to notify process owners when their key business metrics change.
  • Assist in the data collection and maintenance of corporate relevant databases to ensure accuracy.
  • Drive standardization, efficiency and continuous improvement of data management.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure that processes and policies are being followed while checking and recording evidence to demonstrate due diligence.
  • Complete risk assessments to understand risk level, significance and scope.
  • Maintain a detailed schedule of when each audit, check and governance activity needs to take place.
  • Ensure that critical alerts are acknowledged, acted-upon, and resolved.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience with one or more reporting/analytics tools such as Metric Insights or Tableau.
  • Program/project management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree. Ideally, a M.S. or MBA.
  • Experience working in complex cross-functional CRM programs.
  • Understanding of systems, master data and data architecture to pull data from numerous tables from multiple sources to be merged and analyzed.
  • Proficiency with creating and maintaining Teradata SQL.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as CPI-810, GDPR & PCI.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess key business risks and controls.
  • Ability to influence business colleagues and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Passionate about action to deliver any needed risk and control improvements.
  • Ability to lead and deliver change and contribute to culture change successfully.
  • Effectively works with stakeholders to find reasonable and pragmatic solutions to issues.
  • Ability to work independently and own end to end responsibilities for project execution.
  • Aptitude to manage and work with both technical and non-technical team/staff members.
