What you’ll be doing...
The Senior Manager-Proposals (Center Manager (CM) ensures that custom, complex Sales opportunities are assessed, assigned, and professionally managed by the Bid Management team, with the Verizon Credo as the guiding principles. The Center Manager is responsible for managing the availability of the team resources, for mentoring and correcting performance to ensure the team continues to meet the needs of Sales and the Enterprise as a whole, and for developing and maintaining positive relationships and serve as liaison, as needed, between Legal, Contracts, Product Management, Engineering, Solution Architects, and Sales.
The Center Manager identifies appropriate actions or resource(s) for each support request received via SFDC. The CM reviews team workload, and determines availability and assignment taking into consideration due dates for current projects, scheduled vacation, current workload, and scope/complexity/DLM requirements of current opportunity. The CM also ensures we are providing Sales with a clear, consistent, and unified project management experience.
The Center Manager needs to know how to successfully perform all the roles that report to them, and be able to answer executive level queries about performance and activity.
