What you’ll be doing...

You’ll join our Supply Chain Services organization that is transforming the Global Strategic Sourcing Group, where you will play a lead role in supporting our cost savings and revenue generation business goals through the sourcing process for our Market Research and Market Data categories.

A key aspect of the role is leveraging your sourcing expertise in the marketing area to build collaborative relationships with our internal business partners, as well as strategic relationships with our suppliers. You will actively manage high volume and multiple time sensitive projects, effectively interface with all levels of management, and efficiently ensure the sourcing process is completed consistent with company policies and goals.

  • Earns business partner respect and serves as a trusted advisor and partner.
  • Collaborates closely with key business partners to understand their priorities and challenges, and assess and manage expectations.
  • Partners with CMI and the business teams to understand their research needs and play a proactive role in both budgetary as well as timely annual planning.
  • Plans and proposes strategies that best support the business, creates efficiencies, and provides outstanding performance.
  • Partners with the business to eliminate unnecessary spend and leads process throughout workflow, to include LOA guidance, negotiation and execution.
  • Stays current with industry, agency and technological trends.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Five or more years of sourcing experience, including experience managing vendor, business and legal interface.
  • Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing processes, policies, and procedures.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Advertising or Business Administration.
  • Six or more years of demonstrated academic and/or professional leadership experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Self-motivation, self-starter mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience influencing others.
